Uncle Martin I was so lucky to have an amazing uncle like you. I can picture you walking into a room, giving me a big hug and saying ‘Hi sweetheart’. I will miss that warming welcome. One of my fondest memories growing up is having ‘sweetie night’ at yours. You would drive me to Morrison’s in Wetherby and we would get a basket full of sweets, I remember being so happy as you let me buy whatever I wanted! We would then eat them in front of the telly. I will make sure to carry on sweetie night for you. You were an amazing husband to Janie, and I saw how much you adored her. You have both brought up Chris, Ben and Jess to be amazing people today and they will continue to make you so proud. All the Christmas’s, Sunday roasts, birthdays and holidays we have all shared as a family, we will miss you so much. I feel so grateful to have a close family and I will treasure all those precious memories we have all shared with you. Thank you for always being so kind and making me laugh every time I saw you.
